Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Harris County is a partnership between those who wish to better their housing situation and Habitat. We will be holding an orientation meeting for prospective homeowners on:

When: March 31st at 10am

Where:  Cypress Creek Christian Church, 6823 Cypresswood Drive  Spring, TX 77379

You MUST attend this meeting in order to apply for a Habitat home.

This meeting will give you information about the Mission of Habitat for Humanity,
the qualifications you must have to Partner with Habitat and the documentation
necessary to complete an application. Date and location of the application meeting
will be announced at this meeting. In general to qualify for a Habitat home you
must be within 40-60% of the Harris County income guidelines for a family
of your size and be willing to work with Habitat in building your home (sweat
equity). No documentation is required at this meeting but you may wish to bring a
pen in order to take notes.

This facility is a handicapped accessible facility. We will make reasonable
accommodations for those people who have special needs, such as hearing
impairment, with prior notice. You must be on time. Doors will be closed at
the start of the meeting and no one will be allowed to enter after the meeting has
begun. You may leave at any time but you cannot make application if you leave
the meeting early.

If at all possible we encourage you to find child care for your children. It is very
difficult for children to sit through an hour or more with no entertainment and
restless/tired children tend to be disruptive to those near them. Also, please note:
At the request of our hosts no food or drink will be allowed in the meeting room.
