While we want you to come out and swing your hammers with us, there
are many other opportunities for serving. Invest as much or as little time
as you want. You can join our team of dedicated volunteers by signing up
for one or more of these Committees.

Marketing/Fundraising Committee:
You can help plan and implement programs which will generate funds, gifts-in-kind and recruit new volunteers. Activities include: Special Events, Public Relations, mailings, Speakers Bureau and Pledge Programs. It also includes the solicitation of businesses, agencies, foundations, churches, schools and individuals. For more information please contact Rachael Wright at development@habitatnwhc.org
Tool Box Bash Committee:
You can help plan our annual fundraiser, Tool Box Bash, which occurs each year. Committee members assist with sponsors, auction, program items, decorations, and many other activities. Contact Rachael Wright at development@habitatnwhc.org for more information.
Construction Committee:
You can help develop policies and procedures for construction practices. You can also help with project coordination and assist in material acquisition. Our “Red Hats” supervise a group of dedicated volunteers on Saturdays and make the volunteer experience an enjoyable one. Real Estate Committee:
You can help develop the criteria for the selection of future sites. Committee members also look for opportunities to acquire properties for future development. For more information please contact Lee Schnell at lee@habitatnwhc.org
Family Selection Committee:
You can help with the selection of families for Habitat NWHC homes by screening and interviewing applicants. For more in formation please contact Linda Nielson at lanielson@hotmail.com
Family Support Committee:
You can help provide a new homeowner family with the support required to ease them through the conversion of being a renter to a becoming a successful homeowner. Committee members provide the link between the family and Habitat NWHC. For more information please contact Andy Houser at ahouser@remoraenergy.com
There is a special current need for bi-lingual family sponsors.
Church Relations Committee:
The Church Relations Committee reaches out to area churches asking for prayerful support, volunteer activities, donations and sponsorships to Habitat-NWHC. Restore Committee:
ReStore is a resale outlet for good, useable building materials which are sold to the general public at deep discounts. Volunteers price items, stock shelves, clean donated items, ring in sales and provide customer service. For more information please contact Arthur at arthur@habitatnwhc.org
Information Technology (IT):
If you have knowledge of computer software or hardware we can use your talents to keep our affiliate technology up and running. For more information contact Michael Lardner at mflardner@comcast.net
Family Success Committee:
We have just started a new committee that will provide support to our partner families for the first two years after they move into their new home. Since our families are first time homeowners they often need a resource to help them through very basic situations. Among others these could include financial, insurance, home maintenance, taxes, and neighbor relations. For additional information contact home@habitatnwhc.org
