Habitat for Humanity Northwest Harris County has committed to being a leader in long-term repair efforts. Our Home Repair Department partners with volunteers, donors, and homeowners in the community to help repair homes. We believe that everyone deserves a decent and safe place to live.

 

At this time, Habitat for Humanity Northwest Harris County is no longer accepting applications for the ARPA Home Repair Program. We are incredibly grateful for the interest and support from our community. Please continue to check our website and social media channels for future program updates and opportunities.

ARPA Rehabilitation Program 

We provide critical home repairs to help homeowners in Northwest Harris County live safely and comfortably. Our services include roof repairs, HVAC replacements, water heater upgrades, accessibility modifications, and safety improvements—ensuring homes remain safe, energy-efficient, and livable for years to come.

Home Repair Application Process

 

Step 1: Initial Contact

Call us at 281-477-0460 Ext 303 and ask for Peter. He will ask you about your repair needs and determine if your project scope fits the criteria of our program.

 

Step 2: Application Submission

Complete and return the application. We will collect information about your income, expenses, assets, property details, and your permission to perform a credit check, if applicable. Please provide all requested documentation for us to review your application.

 

Step 3: Application Review

Eligible applications will be forwarded to our Home Repair Project Manager for consideration. You will be notified of the outcome of your application.

 

Step 4: Home Assessment

Participate in a home visit by our Home Repair Project Manager. Our Project Manager will conduct an assessment of your home repair needs. 

 

Step 5: Project Timeline

If approved, we will provide you with the timeline for your repair project.
