Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Harris County provides an affordable path to homeownership for hardworking families in our community.
Through partnerships with future homeowners and dedicated volunteers, we build safe, decent, and affordable homes. Once construction is complete, homes are sold to qualified applicants with an affordable mortgage designed to promote long-term financial stability.
Our homeownership program goes beyond housing. Partner families participate in education and training that prepare them for the responsibilities of homeownership and support long-term success in their neighborhoods.
Habitat homes are modest, thoughtfully designed three-bedroom, two-bathroom houses built with affordability, durability, and sustainability in mind. Home styles vary by neighborhood, and each home’s size is determined by family size.
